Josh is currently Head of Player Welfare at Hurstpierpoint College. He provides clinical assessments and advice on injury management and rehabilitation to ensure students recover from injury and return to sport safely. He also manages and provides pitch-side support for the school sporting fixtures.
Josh is a physiotherapist for Sussex Cricket Club and covers the 2nd XI Team during the County Season. He also supports the Sussex Women’s and Academy teams.
Josh also works at a number of Physio Science’s physiotherapy clinics located in Hurstpierpoint, Brighton and Hove.
Josh graduated from Cardiff University in 2013. He started his career by completing various rotations in the NHS before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He has additionally spent time working at various rugby and football clubs offering pitch-side management and rehabilitation. His special interest lies in managing lower limb pathologies and in particular, running-related injuries.
Over the years, Josh has developed his knowledge and understanding in this field and is able to formulate a working diagnosis and an evidenced-based management plan. He applies a patient-centered approach in order to help his patients achieve their desired goals.
