Professional Profile

David is currently the Sussex Pathway Strength & Conditioning (S&C) Lead Coach, working with and developing the future potential players of Sussex Cricket. He also assists within the professionals providing exercise rehabilitation and reconditioning.

His main responsibility is to ensure that young athletes in the cricket academy develop the physical qualities to become a professional cricketer.

David graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2017 with a MSc in Strength and conditioning, a career choice driven by his previous career as a professional rugby player for 5 years. During his time studying his MSc, he also completed a 2 year internship under the guidance of the university S&C

Coach. From here he began working for Physio Science in 2017, working with the Aldridge Cricket Academy, and Sussex Women’s and Girls Academy players.

His time in professional sport has led to a plethora of opportunities to learn and develop from other S&C coaches and Physiotherapists and put into practice the coaching he delivers.

Brighton Clinic

Our Brighton Clinic is located within a state of the art cricket centre, not far from the AMEX football stadium. We offer broad range of services here. This facility has a specialist gym on site for advanced rehabilitation and personal S&C training.
